Business Startup Ideas: Products You Need To Sell To Make Money Fast

Whether you’re a beginner or experienced entrepreneur, a dreamer or an action-taker, there’s no better time to start a business than now. But there are endless business startup ideas and products and services to sell. So where do you start? For one, choose something you love. Do you love technology? Or maybe workout and fitness products? What about the beauty industry? Check out this list of profitable items to sell and launch in your startup this year that are bound to make you money!

Smartwatches

Smartwatches aren’t going anywhere. It’s a market that is booming. In 2019 they are estimated to bring in$19 billion dollars in worldwide sales. AliExpress has a wide variety that you can order including those with heart rate monitors, GPS ability, those that are waterproof, have cameras, etc.

Wireless headphones

I’m sure by now you’ve either seen or own a pair of wireless headphones. And if you have a newer iPhone, then you’ve noticed Apple took away the headphone jack on the iPhone 7. There’s a lot of debate and opinions out there on wireless headphone brands, but one thing is for sure, this market is booming. By 2025, the earphones and headphones market is expected to hit $15.8 billion.

Beard oil

Yes, you read that correctly. I was surprised by this, but then again, I was not. Because when I think about this product, I cannot name off one brand of beard oil (granted, I don’t have a beard and shop for this, but still!). In a survey of 1,000 men in NYC, 67% had a beard or mustache. The grooming industry makes close to 6 billion in annual sales. The beard oil market is a niche competitive market, but there is room for you– the new player. Add in some other grooming products and toiletries for men and you’ll be set.

Backpacks

The men and women’s backpack niche has steadily been growing the last few years. From drawstring packs to convenient hiking backpacks, to handbag backpacks and even diaper bag backpacks, the trend is growing in popularity across different brands and retailers. Instagram shops have proven to be an easy way to start selling these.

Plus-size clothing

Target, Loft and J.Crew recently launched plus-size lines, so if that tells you anything about the market, I think it’s safe to invest in. It’s a standalone niche, which means you can target your marketing directly to the plus size audience. If you are already a store owner, you might consider adding this line to your current inventory or launch a separate line.

Bikes

Are you passionate about biking or do you ride your bike to work? Whether it’s for fun or as a way to commute around town, Americans spend $81 billion on bikes annually. And commuting in the U.S. on a bike has risen 47% nationwide over the last ten years or so. Bike sharing is a whole new market that has taken over the US as well. No matter which avenue you pursue, bikes are products that promote good health, clean air, and are even promoted by the government, so I don’t think you’ll go wrong here. What other products do you think will be hot on the market this year?
