These Are The Highest Paying Low Stress Jobs Of 2019

Most people have a similar goal when it comes to finding the ideal job — finding something that pays well, and has good work life balance. Ideally, it’s a job that is low stress. But, as we all know, it’s hard enough to find a job that hits one of these requirements, let alone both.

Well, the Bureau of Labor Statistics did extensive interviews on this topic and US News & World Report put together a report of their findings, identifying jobs that pay above the national median income of around $50,000, that employees also identified as low stress.

We suddenly want to be a cartographer!

Here are the top ten highest paying low stress jobs:

10. Wind turbine technician

Median salary: $53,880

Education needed: post-secondary non-degree award

9. Survey researcher

Median salary: $54,270

Education needed: master’s degree

8. Hearing aid specialist

Median salary: $54,860

Education needed: high school diploma or equivalent

7. Archaeologist

Median salary: $62,280

Education needed: master’s degree

6. Anthropologist

Median salary: $62,280

Education needed: master’s degree

5. Cartographer

Median salary: $63,990

Education needed: bachelor’s degree

4. Web developer

Median salary: $67,990

Education needed: associate’s degree

3. Radiation therapist

Median salary: $80,570

Education needed: associate’s degree

2. Statistician

Median salary: $84,060

Education needed: master’s degree

1. Orthodontist

Median salary: $208,000

Education needed: doctoral or professional degree
