Finding the right personal loan is an uphill battle.

When you’re pressed for cash, the last thing you want to do is spend hours researching reputable lenders.

Luckily, there’s ZippyLoan.

ZippyLoan is an online marketplace that makes it easy to find the right lender and join the 22.7 million other Americans with personal loans.

In this ZippyLoan review, I’ll give you step-by-step instructions for making the most of the platform and finding the funds you need.

What is ZippyLoan?

ZippyLoan is an online marketplace for quick-and-easy loans. The loans range from $100 to $15,000, and you could get the money the day after you apply.

Here’s something this ZippyLoan review wants to make clear: ZippyLoans isn’t a bank or lender, so it doesn’t give you money directly. Instead, it matches you with lenders that might be able to give you a loan.

Think of ZippyLoan as the “middleman.”

Without it, you might have to spend hours on Google researching different lenders. ZippyLoan lets you enter your information a single time and then assess your loan options within minutes.

ZippyLoan is an especially useful site if your credit is, well, not great. The platform works for all credit types, from “bad” to “excellent.”

How Does ZippyLoan Work?

So let’s say you need money, and you think Zippy Loans could be a solution. What are your next steps?

First of all, you need to make sure you qualify for ZippyLoan.

There are two main ZippyLoan requirements:

  1. You must be at least 18 years old.
  2. You need a regular source of income.

Don’t meet those requirements? Check out this article for other ways to get free money now.

But if you’re eligible, it might be worth giving ZippyLoan a shot.

Here’s the 3-step process for borrowing money through ZippyLoan:

  1. Request a loan online. Head to the official ZippyLoan website and click “Get Started” in the top-right corner. You’ll have to fill out a form, but it should only take 5 minutes.
  1. Sign and collect your money. ZippyLoan will connect you with a lender. From there, you can review the terms, sign the loan agreement, and get your funds. The money could arrive as early as the next day, but it depends on the lender.
  1. Repay the loan. The specifics of the repayment process vary by lender. With certain large loans, you could have up to 60 months to pay the money back. Some smaller loans work as “payday loans,” meaning you’ll arrange to repay the money the day your next paycheck arrives.

Just remember that with ZippyLoan, there are no universal terms. Why? Because the platform is just a marketplace, not an actual lender. The lenders themselves are the ones who determine interest rates, fees, repayment terms, and other details.

*Note: ZippyLoan isn’t currently available in New York, West Virginia, Oregon, or Washington D.C.

Is ZippyLoan Legit?

I’ve done some serious research for this ZippyLoan review, and I’ve determined that the platform is legit.

Here’s some evidence that ZippyLoans is a genuine marketplace for getting a loan:

  • It’s a member of the Online Lenders Alliance (OLA), which is a respected trade organization.
  • It’s been in business for 13 years. Scams don’t usually stick around that long!
  • It has an A- grade from the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

Remember, ZippyLoan is a marketplace, not a lender. It’s not like you’ll be applying directly for special “Zippy Loans.” You should be more worried about the legitimacy of each individual lender than ZippyLoan.

Here’s my advice: Make sure you read the terms carefully before you sign the agreement for a specific loan. It’s always important to know exactly what you’re getting into.

Is ZippyLoan Safe?

ZippyLoan is completely safe to use.

With ZippyLoan, all personal data is protected with 256-bit SSL encryption. And I can’t find any reports of data leaks or costly hacks – so the encryption must be working.

Criminals have been using the ZippyLoan name to scam people, claiming they need a prepayment to secure a loan. But these people have nothing to do with the actual ZippyLoan marketplace. In fact, ZippyLoan uses its website to warn people about the issue. This suggests the company truly cares about its consumers.

Pros and Cons of ZippyLoan

Are you intrigued by the convenience of Zippy Loans? Do you think you might give it a try?

Read these pros and cons first. The best financial decisions are informed decisions.

Pros

  • You can apply with any credit score. That makes ZippyLoan a great option for people with bad credit.
  • The request form takes just 5 minutes. So, if you’re crazy busy (or just have better things to do), you won’t have to waste hours inputting data.
  • There’s a wide variety of loans available. The lenders on ZippyLoan offer all sorts of terms, from small payday loans to larger loans that can take years to repay.

Cons

  • The maximum loan amount is $15,000. That’s enough for most borrowers – but if you want even more, you’ll have to look elsewhere.
  • There’s no guarantee you’ll get a loan. ZippyLoan prioritizes accessibility, but it’s still possible that no lender will accept your application.
  • The interest rates could be high. As a marketplace, ZippyLoan doesn’t set interest rates. That job falls to the individual lenders.

ZippyLoan Reviews / ZippyLoan Customer Reviews

Let’s take a look at some ZippyLoan customer reviews.

In a 5-star ZippyLoan review, someone raved about the customer service. They even said their time with ZippyLoan was the “completely best experience I have ever received at a loan company.”

I also found a 1-star ZippyLoan review where someone complained that the platform “will sell your information to other companies.”

In a sense, this is true. ZippyLoan passes your info on to outside lenders. But it’s not a scam – it’s just part of the business model.

Another 1-star Zippy Loan review called the platform “horrible” – and in all-caps, no less. It’s tough to tell exactly what went wrong, but it seems this person wasn’t offered a loan even after filling out the online request form.

Unfortunately, this type of situation is always possible. There’s never a guarantee that you’ll qualify for a loan. It all depends on what lenders think of your financial situation.

One person said they had a bad experience with ZippyLoan, but admitted that it might have been because they didn’t repay their loan on time.

The thread had a few more responses, but I think they were from spammers.

They were all the same length, and they all complained about ZippyLoan in the same vague terms. I got robot vibes from them, to be honest.

ZippyLoan Reviews BBB

ZippyLoan gets an A- grade from the Better Business Bureau (BBB). This rating is based on ZippyLoan’s complaint history on the BBB website.

There are also a couple of reviews on ZippyLoan’s BBB page. Unfortunately, both give the company a single star.

Now, here’s the good news: The reviews don’t seem to be from active ZippyLoan users. Instead, they’re from people complaining about receiving an annoying number of Zippy Loans emails.

Is ZippyLoan Worth It?

ZippyLoan is absolutely worth it for anyone who wants to assess their borrowing options quickly.

There are two main reasons why my ZippyLoan review is so positive:

  1. ZippyLoan is completely free to use. (The lenders will charge interest and maybe even fees, but ZippyLoan itself won’t charge you a penny.)
  2. The request form takes just 5 minutes to complete.

So, if you want to give ZippyLoan a shot, you literally have nothing to lose. Just fill out the form and see what loans are available to you. If you like what you see, you’ve got the loan you’ve been needing.

And if you don’t like your options (or if you aren’t offered a loan), you can shrug it off and check out these other options for loans for bad credit

What is The Catch With ZippyLoan?

The only real “catch” with ZippyLoan is that there’s no guarantee you’ll qualify for a loan. ZippyLoan lets you complete a request form even if you have bad credit. Ultimately, it’s up to the lenders in the marketplace to decide whether or not they’ll offer you a loan.

Is ZippyLoan a Scam?

ZippyLoan is a legitimate company with an A- grade from the Better Business Bureau (BBB), so it definitely isn’t a scam. It’s a great platform for finding lenders online, and it’s completely free to use.

You can apply for a loan through ZippyLoan with any credit score. That’s one of the platform’s biggest advantages. The only requirements are that you have to be 18 or older and you need a consistent source of income.

Zippyloan Requirements?

There are two requirements to apply for a loan with ZippyLoan:

  1. You must be 18 or older.

One complaint about ZippyLoan is that they give your information to other companies. This is a necessary byproduct of ZippyLoan’s business model, which involves matching people with lenders. Some people also complain that ZippyLoan itself pesters them with emails.

ZippyLoan itself doesn’t have a credit requirement, but the lenders they work with usually do. When you request a loan through ZippyLoan, you’ll be invited to apply with an individual lender, and that lender will likely complete a credit check.
